Managing the regeneration of a former British Steel quarry site in Northamptonshire into a £76 million mixed use site incorporating industrial units, offices and hotel, the team overcame several challenges for our client.

Driving successful negotiation with the Highway Agency, Environment Agency and Northampton County Council, we secured permission to construct a major new junction on the A14, including additional running lanes, signalised roundabouts, and demolition and reconstruction of a bridge, and agreed with the Environment Agency for the site to be able to withstand a 1 in 500 year storm.

After extensive lobbying of all the major committees and politicians throughout the planning process, planning consent was granted for 2 million sq. ft. of development.
