Luxury Destination Shopping, Shanghai Village

Situated immediately adjacent to Shanghai Disney Resort within the Pudong New District Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone with direct access from the Disney Resort and situated on metro line 11 with direct links to central Shanghai, Shanghai Village is a themed luxury shopping destination modelled on the European shopping experience. With a net sales area of 350,000 sqft, the village is comprised of luxury fashion and lifestyle brands and various food and beverage outlets. A joint venture between Value Retail China and Shanghai Shendi Group, the design and construction utilised concrete frame and blockwork to create terraced Retail units arranged in blocks with the villages defining zoned country themes expressed through intricate uniquely designed individual facades for each unit facing towards the streetscape. The interiors comprised high ceilings, screeds and sprinkler systems only, to allow Tenants maximum creative flexibility for their fit-outs. Extensive hard and soft landscaping and street furniture was utilised to create the village effect. Opened May 2016. Commercial Management services were provided inception to completion.
