Demolition of existing building and new build Construction of a 350,000sqft multi-storey Mixed Use Scheme over six levels with circa 200,000 sqft Retail and Commercial uses and 146 onsite parking spaces located directly over Fulham Broadway Tube Station. The development also comprised construction of a new tube station and conversion of the previous 1910 grade II listed ticket hall into a high quality restaurant. Strategically located, this development was designed to regnerate the area of Fulham Broadway and Stamford Bridge providing a new focus for the neighbourhood. The shopping center generates footfall of over 200,000 people/week. Very large steel trusses spanning large distances to free up premium space were utilised for this development. The development is anchored by a 9 screen Warner Village(now VUE) cinema, Sainsbury’s, Wilko, Paperchase and Accessorize, with a total of 25 retail units. It also provides a strong food and beverage offering and leisure support functions(top floor health and fitness club) along with interface and access with the tube station. Considerable consultations with London Underground due to the tube running directly beneath the building. A highly complex project with numerous challenges. Commercial Management services were provided. Upon completion this project won Property Week Retail, Leisure Property Awards Best Mixed Use Leisure scheme.
