Situated between the International Airport and Mussaffah, and just 10km from the city center, the new Emirates French Hospital will complement the existing French Emirates Clinic in central Abu Dhabi and the overall ‘high end’ healthcare offering of Abu Dhabi.

The new facility, designed by AIA Architects of Paris will comprise a general hospital consisting of 93 beds (81 normal beds and 12 critical care beds) including 8 VIP suites and 14 standard suites. As part of the overall project management service, which included the detailed re-programming of the construction works, design management, commercial management and contract administration, management of the construction, completion, co-ordination of the mechanical and electrical services / equipment interface and supervision thereof, and comprehensive medical equipping of the hospital, the works also involved pro-active re-engagement with Target Contractors after a 3 year suspension of works to settle outstanding payments and agree the re-commencement of work.
