Client: Hermes China
Project Value: Circa £35,000,000
Location: Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
Ultra-high quality store fit-out of two prominent existing listed buildings, circa 5,500m2 to create Hermes’ Flagship Store in the People’s Republic of China. Both buildings (dated from the early 1900s) required underpinning to support the deteriorating timber footings. Located in a prominent location for shoppers, and situated over metro lines, this was an expensive and time-consuming task. Separately the main historic building required multiple adaptations to the structure and a ‘high-end’ fit-out utilising many imported materials, fixtures and fittings to create the desired ultra-luxurious experience. Commercial Management services were provided.
