After graduating from the University of Westminster with a BSc (Hons) in Building, David’s early career was spent working for Taylor Woodrow in the Middle East.

On his return to the UK, David set-up the Capitol Group to develop housing in Kent. Later, shifting its focus to more demanding projects in London. From identifying unloved buildings and unusual sites with huge potential, to raising the finance, developing the design, overseeing the construction and steering the marketing.

David was also taken onto the board of a national housing association to provide advice and support to the organisation’s ambitions of moving into private development, thereby generating increased levels of revenue, advised on ongoing development strategy and streamlining of facilities management and maintenance structures, using private sector expertise to increase commercial focus companywide.

David is regarded as an accomplished and highly experienced Property Developer, projects have ranged from sensitive city centre conversions to cutting edge bespoke new builds. David and his collaborators have, over the past 25 years, brought together all the elements needed to create stimulating living, commercial, retail and restaurant spaces in the heart of the capital.
