Located in the heart of Hong Kong on Queens Road Central, the iconic The Landmark Hotel is instantly recognisable to many. The flagship of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, this hotel caters to a clientele with the highest expectations and standards. The works required an updating and upgrading of 120 existing rooms, Junior Suite and Landmark Suite and the public corridors. The upgrade required updating MEP systems, complete replacement of floor and wall finishes, re-design of internal partitioning, and new audio-visual interaction tools, sofas, drapes and bathtubs. The refit design specified high quality finishes and fixtures and fittings and required high quality workmanship. The programme and budget were tight and works were carried out in a live and restricted environment with logistical challenges. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
